Operating Conditions
In order to achieve enhanced performance under severe conditions conventional FBE coating can be supplemented using a dual powder system. Enhancement of mechanical protection, outdoor weathering and UV stability as well as abrasion resistance can be achieved using a variety of over coats that protect the underlying FBE corrosion protection layer.
Application and Standards
FBE is applied by electrostatic spray to the heated pipe. Wasco Coatings applies FBE in accordance with recognized international standards such as CSA Z245.20, NACE RP0394 and customer specifications. The second protective layer in the dual powder system is applied immediately after the primary coating.

| Typical Properties |

Typical properties are dependent on the nature of the over coat system. The primary FBE corrosion protection properties are unaffected and reference to the stand alone FBE data sheet should be made.
