Wasco Coatings is committed to the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors, and to the protection of the environment. This commitment is espoused through our HSE policy statement, a signed copy of which can be found on this website. We believe that we can conduct our business with zero fatalities, accidents and significant incidents. We strive to achieve this aim by focusing on a combination of factors: including personal commitment throughout the organization, together with a robust HSE Management system, which is reviewed regularly and continually improved, and which integrates the highest international standards; including OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001. Central to this HSE Management system is our recognition of the importance of the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and the implementation of suitable control measures.

HSE awareness is continuously promoted through our ongoing initiatives inside and outside the work place: including regular HSE walkabouts, toolbox meetings, road safety campaigns and a "safety in the home" program aimed at educating our employees and their families as to the importance of HSE in everything we do. We communicate our message through a quarterly newsletter and regular safety bulletins and we strongly encourage HSE discussion through all available platforms and assess, recognize and reward our employee's commitment to a positive safety culture through our performance appraisal scheme.
