Wasco Coatings brings many years of experience and expertise to the transportation of line pipe to and from its various coating plants; providing its clients with the most cost efficient and optimized logistics solutions.

In Kuantan, Malaysia, Kuantan Port is one of the world's leading ports for the import of bare line pipe and re-export of coated line pipe, handling many hundreds of thousands of tonnes of line pipe per annum. A total of 725 meters of multi-purpose berthing is available for the handling of line pipe. These berths can accommodate vessels of up to 45,000 displacement tonnes.

Wasco Coatings exclusively operates Berth 6, a 120 meter berth with a 34 ton gantry crane, designed specifically for barge load-in and load-out operations. Berth 6 can handle up to 300' barges, and has proven load-out rates of up to 30 joints per hour, based on 42" OD with 4" of CWC.
